Tabitha Heard

Tabitha Heard, beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on August 10, 2023, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on July 23, 1969, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Roger Young and Sharlene Young. A longtime member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Grandview MO, Tabitha was dedicated to her faith, community, and family.

A Celebration of Life event will be held on September 9, 2023, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Grandview, Missouri. The gathering will commence at 12:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to join together to honor Tabitha's memory in a spirit of love and remembrance.

Tabitha leaves behind her loving husband Wayne Heard. She is also survived by her parents Roger and Sharlene Young, brother, Kevin (Kim) Young, brothers-in-law, Mark (Karen) Heard and Keith (Cher) Heard.  In addition to her immediate family, Tabitha had the privilege of being an aunt to six nieces and one nephew, as well as four great-nieces and two great-nephews.

 

Tabitha Heard will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, compassion, and joy will continue to inspire us all. As we gather in remembrance on September 9th, let us celebrate the incredible life she lived and carry forward her spirit of love into the world.
