Sheila Simmons, age 61, of Raymore, Missouri received her angel wings early Sunday morning, October 17, 2021, with her children by her side.
Sheila was born on April 15, 1960, the daughter of Virgil M. Simmons and Bonnie J. Geromini. She attended Bosworth School, and when her family moved to Bogard when she was in 7th grade, she attended Bogard School until her graduation in 1978.
She loved to fish and was a country girl at heart. She also loved her family very much.
Sheila is survived by her two daughters, April Nicole Simmons, of Minneapolis, MN., and Desiree Dawn Wilcox (Nick), of Belton, Missouri; two sisters, Vicki Wilkinson (Henry), of Raymore, MO., and Marla Bultmann (Kenny), of Carrollton, MO.; one brother, Vernon Simmons (Gean), of Carrollton, MO; four grandchildren, Kayvon, Destiny, K.J., and Tristan; her great-grandson, Carmuan, who was her pride and joy; her long-time soul mate, Kim Collier; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Simmons and Bonnie Gray; one sister, Melissa Reynolds; and two nephews, Matthew Rodenberg and Quentin Simmons.
As per Sheila’s request, there will be no funeral services. She will be cremated.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, or the charity of your choice.
