Sharon Douglas

Sharon Douglas, age 41, died tragically and unexpectedly in a drive-by shooting in Kansas City, Missouri on July 1, 2020. There was no known connection between Sharon and the shooter.
Sharon was a strong, loving, generous and kind hearted soul. She loved life, adventures, and her friends. Most of all, she loved her children.
Sharon was born in Plattsburgh, New York and her childhood was spent in the Adirondacks in Cumberland Head.
She is survived by her two children: Anfernee Heifner, of Kansas City, Missouri; Maleena Heifner, of Columbia, Missouri; her husband Doug Douglas, of Kansas City; her mother and father: Fred and Laraine Locklin, of Cumberland Head, New York; Biological mother: Deborah Gregory Mischenko and her husband Martin Mischenko, of Mineville, New York; Brother: Shaun Locklin, of Cumberland Head, New York; Sisters: Melinda Gay and Jessica Kipp, of Willsboro, New York. Sharon is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Sharon is now reunited with her brother, Daniel Locklin, who passed away in 2019.
The family has set up a GoFundMe fundraiser for final expenses and for her children.
