Richard Rollins

Richard "RICK" E. Rollins Jr., age 71, of Maryville, Missouri passed April 10, 2016 at The University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas. Rick was born April 5,1945 in Topeka, Kansas to Richard E. Rollins, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Mallory. He served in the United States Navy where he was honorably discharged in 1969. Rick was a police detective with the Denver Police Department until his retirement in 2002. He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy. Rick is survived by his wife of 38 years, Shirley (Sickler) Rollins; sons: Richard "Trip" E. Rollins III and Scott Rollins; daughters: Debbie St.Michel and Tracy Thompson; father: Richard E. Rollins, Sr.; brother: Terry Rollins; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandson. Memorial gathering to be held by the family at a later date.
