Patrick Slevin

November 27, 1960 — July 19, 2018

Patrick Michael Slevin, 57, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away suddenly on July 19, 2018.
Pat graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School in Overland Park in 1979.  He then moved to San Raphael, California, then to Evansville, Indiana and eventually back to Overland Park.  He regularly attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Pat loved music and was an accomplished musician and songwriter.  He played several instruments including the keyboard, piano, and guitar.  He played in bands in San Francisco, Evansville, Indiana, and the Kansas City area.  He had a wonderful sense of humor and always had a smile and that infectious laugh for everyone.

Pat loved his two daughters, Rachel Besing (Kyle) Owensboro, Kentucky and Car Slevin, Overland Park, Kansas; and his grandson, Marshall Besing.

He is missed by many friends and family members, and especially his Mother, Catherine (Kate) Slevin; his siblings, and their families, including Chris (Slevin) Triebsch (Kevin), Marietta, Georgia; Tim Slevin (Susan) of Trabuco Canyon, California; Theresa (Slevin) Halgran (John) of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; Mary (Slevin) Koehler of Kansas City, Missouri.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Pat’s life at the Overland Towers Apartments, 8580 Farley Street, Overland Park, KS 66212, on Saturday, July 28, at 3:00 p.m.  Please join us as we acknowledge, share stories, and celebrate Pat’s life.
