Pamela Hanslip

November 10, 1958 — January 27, 2016

Pamela French Hanslip, age 57, of Lee's Summit, Missouri passed away Wednesday morning January 27. Beloved daughter of E Robert Hanslip, loving sister of brothers Scott and Doug Hanslip, step sister to the Latham family, kind and fond cousin, niece, and aunt to many, and a constant friend and companion to Kelly Drummond. Pamela grew up in Leawood and Mission Hills, Kansas, graduating from Shawnee Mission East High School where she dominated as a Lancer across several sports. Pam then went on to graduate from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri with a Bachelor of Arts. Pam was a good soul. She was a sensitive, caring, loving, and fun person to be around, with a deeply spiritual self and a strong faith in God. She was a lover of all animals, particularly her dogs, and possessed a simple un-ending compassion for all around her. Pam fought hard for the life she lived, and had an unending ability to make all of those around her warmly love her for her wit, her spirit, and her genuine appreciation for their friendship and care. She will be deeply missed by her family, and the countless lives she touched in her community. Rest in peace Pam. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday Feb 6th at the Lee's Summit United Methodist Church, 114 SE Douglas, Lee's Summit, MO. Visitation at 1pm, Church service at 2pm, and a reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to The Rediscover Mental Health in Lee's Summit, MO.
