Pamela Alos

Pamela A. Alos, age 73 of Leavenworth Kansas passed away October 3,2020 at Promise Hospital of Overland Park, Kansas.

She was born on June 7, 1947 as the firstborn child of 3 daughters born to John E. & Anna M. Shaffer of York, Pennsylvania.
She graduated from Dallastown Area High School, Dallastown, PA in 1965 and from Mt. Sinai Hospital School of Nursing in Manhattan, New York in 1968. She spent her entire working career as a Psychiatrist Nurse.
After retirement she spent a lot of time working with HAB (Human Animal Bond) going to nursing homes, schools and hospitals with her wonderful dog Star (a pit bull terrier) now also deceased.
Her love for dogs continued through out a life long commitment to other dogs. Wiggles a Boston Terrier. Winston a Pug and Sadie a French Bulldog.
She is survived by her two sisters, Johneen E. Doherty of Sun City Center Florida and Karen L. Heltzel of Seven Valleys, Pa.
She is also survived by her only child, beloved daughter, Michelle Parker, son-in-law Mark Parker and 2 grandsons Ryan and Jacob Parker of Appling Georgia.

Memorial Service to be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Journey Community Church, 4798 Hardy McManus Road, Evans, Georgia,30809
