Mike Dicks

Mike Allen Dicks, age 71, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on March 12, 2025. Mike was born on January 4, 1954 in Kansas to John and Wynona (Smith) Dicks. He spent his working years in the refrigeration business. Mike met his wife, Achsah Rose Garrett, in 1999 in Leavenworth, KS. They married on May 14, 1999. From that union, Mike gained a daughter, Ashley Walker, who he loved very much.

Mike also loved working with electronics and was always up-to-date on new technology. He enjoyed being around his dogs and his grandson, Vinny. He enjoyed getting outdoors and spending time with his beloved wife of 25 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Mark Stanley; stepmother Margaret Dicks. Mike is survived by and sorely missed by his wife, Achsah, daughter Ashley (Matt), grandson Vinny, and granddaughter on-the-way, Paige, of the home; sister Freda (Ford) Duane of Orlando, FL; Jeremy (Penny) Dicks, Jennifer (Kerry) Kistner, Mike Dicks, Jr. all of Kansas City; stepdaughters Valerie (Tony) and Kristina; and other grandchildren, Eddie, Christian, Alyssa, Jayden, Kayle, Mazie, and Tyler.

The family would like to thank the staff at Bridgewood Healthcare Center for the kindness and support that they provided to Mike and his family.

A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
