Michael Gittrich

Michael John Gittrich of Olathe, Kansas died at his home in late December 2019, at the age of 63 years.  He was born on May 4, 1956 in Wichita, Kansas, to Joseph J. Gittrich and E. Doris Gittrich (Briggs), who both preceded him in death.  He is survived by a brother, Jay A. Gittrich, of Mesa, AZ and his adopted family of decades, by whom he was lovingly referred to as “Uncle Mike”.

Michael attended Bishop Carol High School, Wichita, Kansas and the University of Kansas.  The majority of his career was as an IT Professional for Sprint, where he had many colleagues and friends.
