Kevin Carlisle

Kevin Scott Carlisle of Kansas City, MO passed away at home the morning of May 6th

Music was a huge part of Kevin’s life. God gifted him with the ability to have a profound effect on the lives of others be it in a band, church choir, praise & worship teams, quartet or playing his guitar and just hanging out.

He loved and cherished his family and friends more than he was ever truly able to express. He was a great son, brother and father. He was fun, giving, courageous, loving, protective and so strong. He loved to spend time with family & friends, fish, hunt, track and ride his Harley. Yet the way he lived his life and the reasons behind it were often misunderstood.

He was a best friend, confidant, hero and love of her life to his wife of 32 years. The testimony of their love for the Lord and each other was evident and witnessed by those around them.

He is preceded in by his younger brother David Carlisle.

Surviving family include: his mother Patricia Carlisle of Newburgh Indiana, 2 sons: Shawn & Hannah Carlisle, Tyler & Annie Carlisle, younger brother Cary & Tanya Carlisle, sister in law Beth Greer, he has 4 grandchildren: Pierson, Jocelyn, Lizzie, & Ella, father in law Aaron Perry, brother & sister in law Matthew & Sharon Perry, nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and his wife Melanie.

A private service of family and friends is being held May 28th.
