Julia Ensign

On Thursday, November 21st, 2019, Julia Ensign passed away at home in Olathe, KS at the age of 35. Julia was born and raised in Lawrence, KS. She attended the University of Kansas where she earned a degree in Sociology. Her compassionate spirit led her to work as a paraprofessional for special needs kids. After the birth of her first child, Julia dedicated herself to motherhood first and foremost. She treasured the time spent with her children and did everything possible to spend more time with them.

Julia is survived by her husband, Jacob; children, Evangeline, Isabelle, and Grant; father, Charles Hurst; and her brother and sister, Jerad and Jillian Hurst. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Hurst. Julia will be forever missed and remembered by her family and friends.

Family & friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life in honor of Julia on Saturday, December 14th, at 1:00 p.m., at Maceli's Banquet Hall, 1031 New Hampshire St, Lawrence, KS.
