John Egle

John was born June 30, 1934 in Kansas City to Joseph and Bernadine Egle. He went to elementary school at Visitation, graduated from Rockhurst High School and finished his education at the University of Kansas. He served his country in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Aviator. He went on to a long career in book publishing, eventually retiring to Santa Fe, New Mexico. John and his wife returned to Kansas City 3 years ago. John was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Rosemary Faubion. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary, his brother, Joe Egle, a brother-in-law, Robert McCoy, and numerous nieces and nephews.
