Janice Eileen Robbins Eldridge was an adored mom, Gramma, and wife whom departed this life on November 16, 2021. Janice leaves behind a wife of 21 years, Lee Burleson, as well as her family, and children, Joshua (Cari), Almeda, and Jack Eldridge, grandchildren, Daniel, Salem, and Madison Eldridge, Corbin Southerland, and Tony and Sarah Boatright. Her great granddaughters are Lilly and Violet Eldridge, and Jane Eileen Marquez.
Janice was born to Jack and Almeda Robbins on December 20, 1950 growing up in Torrance, California alongside her sisters, Joy and Jill, as well as her best and lifelong friend, Sue Burin.
One thing that Janice would want everyone to remember is that her mother did an incredible job raising three girls through ups and downs and that her mom taught her quite a bit about motherhood and love. Janice also did an amazing job raising three children as well with the loving support of her then spouse, Ronna Eldridge, while also excelling in her career at MetLife. She was even rewarded for her innovations by being able to pilot the MetLife blimp over a southern California sporting event.
Janice and her family moved to Leavenworth in the 1990’s in order to slow down a bit in life. It was there that she met Lee, her loving spouse and friend for the last 21 years. They were able to be an integral part of their grandchildren’s lives. Janice brought a smile to everyone’s face with her quippy antics.
