Irineo Alvarado, known affectionately as Juney, Junior, or Jay, passed away on April 6, 2024, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born in August of 1961, in Riverside, California.
In his 14 years of dedicated military service, Irineo achieved the highest rank of Staff Sergeant and later went on to become a field supervisor for the city of Lee’s Summit. His commitment to serving his country and community was truly admirable.
Aside from his successful career, Irineo held an Associate's degree and took immense pride in his role as a father. His bond with Renee Rice, Katelynn and Justin Alvarado was unbreakable.
Irineo’s love for the Kansas City Chiefs was unwavering as a loyal season ticket holder. One of his proudest accomplishments was taking his children on memorable family trips, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter.
In addition to his loving son Justin Alvarado, Irineo is survived by Renee Rice and Katelynn Alvarado. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Irineo Alvarado's legacy of service, love for family, and dedication to community will forever be remembered by those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace.
