Douglas Paul Aronson, 71, of Kansas City, passed away on November 1, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospice House, his family at his side.
He was born June 17, 1947 in Kansas City Missouri to Henry and Mabel Aronson the first of three boys. He graduated from Southwest High School in 1965 and served in the United States Marine Corp. He sold wholesale foods for many years to institutions in the KC area. He coached little league baseball for many years and was an active member of Pop Warner Football in Blue Springs. He loved his Kansas City Royals & Chiefs.
He is survived by his four children, Douglas G. Aronson, Deborah Carter (Raymond), Dusty Epperson (fiancé Matt Manuel) and Damon Aronson. He had six grandchildren: Amber Garber, Taylor Beaudet, Summer Epperson, Drew Epperson, Blake Aronson, and Destiny Carter; two great-grandchildren Zachary and Preston Garber; brother Denny Aronson, niece Stacey Milsap, nephew Adam Aronson and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents (Henry & Mabel Aronson) brother (Barry Aronson).
We will celebrate his life on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 10am in the Chapel at Forest Hill Calvary Cemetery, 6901 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO 64131.
