Diane Elaine Glass, 77, of Grandview, MO, passed away on October 31, 2024 after a long illness.
Diane was born on April 2, 1947 in KCMO to the late Lyle "Bud" and Betty Potter. She spent her first few years in her mother's hometown of Dallas, MO near 103rd and State Line, in what is now South KC (Watts Mill). Diane graduated from Center High School in 1965.
Diane is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Randy Glass, her son Mark Schnoebelen of KCMO, two grandsons; Zack Lewandowski, of St. Louis, MO and Jacob Jacob Schnoebelen, of KCMO; a great granddaughter Jade Lewandowski of St. Louis, MO; brothers Dan Potter, of Rancho Santo Margarita, CA, and Tim Potter of Wichita, KS.
Diane was an avid antique collector since her 20's. She loved the outdoors. Her and Randy spent many many hours camping, fishing and hunting and enjoying nature and gardening down at their farm. She was a true animal lover, over the years she spoiled many cats and dogs, always looking for deer at the farm which was in abundance and watching the many hummingbirds.
Diane was always dressed to the hilt. Loved listening to The Bee Gees and Andy Gibb. She lived for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, decorating every inch of the house. She could have been a professional gift wrapper, no one decorated a package better than Diane did.
Before retiring she worked 16 years at the US Bank.
The family is planning a celebration of life in the Spring.
