Christine Louise Leiker, aged 70, died peacefully at her home in Kansas City, Missouri on Saturday, June 29th, 2024. She was the eldest daughter of Flossie Lee Roush and David Lawrence Cameron of Amsterdam, Missouri.
She grew up in Amsterdam, Missouri, and graduated from Miami R-1 School in 1971. She attended airline school, and later worked for 35 years at the Bannister Federal Complex before retiring in 2014.
Chris was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many. Her devotion to her family was unwavering, and she took pride in helping the people she loved. She loved to cook, play cards, and watch the Chiefs.
She is survived by her son, Neal Huggins of Kansas City, Missouri; her siblings, Julia Chaffee of Belton, Missouri, Terry Cameron and wife Tammy of Amsterdam, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Benjamin Cameron and wife Lisa, Ryan Chaffee, Baylen Addleman and husband Lucas, and Brooklyn Powell and husband Timmy. She was preceded in death by her parents.
