Charles "Charlie" Britton

Charles "Charlie" Lee Britton, 59, of Peculiar passed on January 13, 2020 at his home.

He was born April 25, 1960 to Nelson Britton and Marjorie Woodside Britton in Browning, Missouri. Charlie attended Linn County R-1, and was member of the class of 1978. He and his high school buddies started the band Mean Streak where he was lead guitarist.

Charlie recently invested in a motor home he enjoyed "improving," and was looking forward to taking it on the open road to see the country. He road his motorcycle whenever and wherever he could, and still enjoyed playing music on his collection of guitars.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Clinton Britton.

Charlie is survived by his sons Charles Eric Britton of Independence, MO and Anthony (Lindsay) Britton, of Belton MO.

The family will host a celebration of life at a later date.
